Beyond stunning, Stewart’s all new Luxus retractable screen system now brings the next level of industry-leading innovation to the two-piece projection screen market.

The Luxus BC 165" screen features a large 165-inch diagonal size, with a 16:9 aspect ratio that is perfect for displaying widescreen content in high definition. The screen surface is made from a high-quality FireHawk material, which offers excellent color accuracy and contrast while also reducing ambient light and improving overall image quality.

Way cool mounting bracket

Installation is easier, faster and more convenient. The new Luxus uses a sliding mounting bracket which runs along both the top and back of the case for a perfect wall or ceiling fit. The new Luxus is also ¾ of an inch smaller in circumference, making the screen case more compact.

The screen is also equipped with Stewart Filmscreen's proprietary Black Level Boost (BLB) technology, which enhances black levels and shadow detail for an even more immersive viewing experience. The Luxus BC 165" screen is compatible with both 2D and 3D content, and features a wide viewing angle of 65 degrees, making it ideal for group viewing.

New multi-platform controller that speaks IR, Serial, RF, IP, Trigger and Dry Contact

The Intelligent Motor Control (IMC) 100 is a highly reliable multi-platform friendly solution that is fully hidden and integrated into the screen case. Access to the screen assembly, motor and the control is now easier with the removable case bonnet.

The Luxus BC screen is constructed with a durable frame made of extruded aluminum and features Stewart Filmscreen's patented Tab-Guy tensioning system. This ensures that the screen surface remains perfectly flat and taut, providing a smooth and flawless viewing experience. The frame is finished with a stylish black velvet material that enhances the screen's appearance and provides a professional look.

Built to impress

The end caps come standard in black or white to match the screen case or, you can choose optional hand-polished brushed aluminum end caps to take the screen to a whole new level of sophistication.

The Luxus BC 165" screen comes with a High Flow Rate (HFR) ventilation system, which keeps the screen cool and ensures long-term reliability. The screen also features Stewart Filmscreen's Stealth Masking System (SMS), which allows users to adjust the screen size and aspect ratio on the fly, without any visible borders or distracting elements.

Plug and Play Access

The new Luxus provides easy and direct access to power and control outputs via the back of the case. The Smart Port allows access to IR, Serial and more.

Venue specific fabrics

Plenty of screen manufacturers make a small, wall mounted retractable screen. None, however, can furnish in one of Stewart's application driven 16K+ front or rear projection fabrics.

The new Luxus is an appealing compact, below ceiling retractable screen system that is ideal for image widths up to 15 feet 2 inches. Scaling up to 209 inches in diagonal in 16:9 format with a 12 inch black drop, the new Luxus is ¾ of an inch smaller in circumference and features a mounting bracket that allows the screen case to slide horizontally for proper centering on the wall or ceiling. With built-in controls and a removable case bonnet, the new Luxus continues to be a well proven screen with a time-tested following.
