Beyond stunning, Stewart’s all new Luxus retractable screen system now brings the next level of industry-leading innovation to the two-piece projection screen market.

The screen has a diagonal measurement of 153 inches, with an aspect ratio of 2.40:1, which is perfect for displaying widescreen movies in the Cinemascope format. The actual viewing area of the screen measures 59.13 inches in height and 142 inches in width, providing a large and immersive viewing surface.

Way cool mounting bracket

Installation is easier, faster and more convenient. The new Luxus uses a sliding mounting bracket which runs along both the top and back of the case for a perfect wall or ceiling fit. The new Luxus is also ¾ of an inch smaller in circumference, making the screen case more compact.

The Luxus BC 153" screen features Stewart Filmscreen's proprietary Cinemaperf material, which is a high-quality perforated vinyl material that is acoustically transparent. This allows sound to pass through the screen without any loss of quality, making it ideal for use with advanced surround sound systems.

New multi-platform controller that speaks IR, Serial, RF, IP, Trigger and Dry Contact

The Intelligent Motor Control (IMC) 100 is a highly reliable multi-platform friendly solution that is fully hidden and integrated into the screen case. Access to the screen assembly, motor and the control is now easier with the removable case bonnet.

The screen has a gain of 0.85, which means it reflects 85% of the projector's light back to the audience. This provides excellent color accuracy and sharpness, even in rooms with ambient light. The Luxus BC 153" screen also features a matte white finish, which enhances the overall image quality by minimizing hot spotting and providing a consistent surface for projecting images.

Built to impress

The end caps come standard in black or white to match the screen case or, you can choose optional hand-polished brushed aluminum end caps to take the screen to a whole new level of sophistication.

The screen is easy to install, with a motorized masking system that allows for easy adjustment of the aspect ratio to fit the content being displayed. The screen is also acoustically transparent, which means that it can be used with in-wall speakers without affecting sound quality.

Plug and Play Access

The new Luxus provides easy and direct access to power and control outputs via the back of the case. The Smart Port allows access to IR, Serial and more.

The Luxus BC 153" screen comes with Stewart Filmscreen's VeLux™ black velvet frame, which provides a high-contrast border around the screen and absorbs any stray light to enhance the image quality. The frame is also designed to provide a sleek and elegant look that complements any home theater or commercial cinema design.

Plenty of screen manufacturers make a small, wall mounted retractable screen. None, however, can furnish in one of Stewart's application driven 16K+ front or rear projection fabrics.

The new Luxus is an appealing compact, below ceiling retractable screen system that is ideal for image widths up to 15 feet 2 inches. Scaling up to 209 inches in diagonal in 16:9 format with a 12 inch black drop, the new Luxus is ¾ of an inch smaller in circumference and features a mounting bracket that allows the screen case to slide horizontally for proper centering on the wall or ceiling. With built-in controls and a removable case bonnet, the new Luxus continues to be a well proven screen with a time-tested following.
